Shaler Area School Board approves 2017-18 school calendar
Shaler Area School Board approved the 2017-18 school year calendar during its Feb. 15 voting meeting. The first day of school for all students will be August 24, 2017. The last day of school for all students will be June 1, 2018.

Change Machine: A new grant opportunity for student-led initiatives for positive change
The Sprout Fund has a new initiative the Change Machine, which provides $500 grants to support, celebrate and showcase unique youth-led initiatives with the power to incite positive change.
