The District utilizes www.PA-Educator.net as the primary source from which candidates for professional employment opportunities are identified.  In order to be a candidate for professional employment opportunities your application file on www.PA-Educator.net must be complete. Shaler Area School District does not review hard copies of applications it receives for professional positions.


SUBSTITUTE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Substitute Nurse's Aides Needed... Nurse’s Aides for special needs students and/or assisting the school nurse in the Health Office.  LPN or RN license required. CPR and First Aid training and certification preferred.  Qualified applicants should contact [email protected] for a substitute application.

REQUIRED FORMS/CLEARANCES
All individuals applying for positions in Pennsylvania public schools must obtain a federal criminal history background check, in addition to Pennsylvania criminal record and child abuse clearances.

Once your application has been completed and you have secured your required clearances,RETURN YOUR APPLICATION MATERIALS IN PERSON, with the original documents to: Shaler Area School District, Substitute Service Clerk, 1800 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA 15116-2196. You will be considered as a candidate when all materials have been received and your file is complete. You may begin to work for the District when your application for employment as a substitute employee has been approved by the Shaler Area Board of School Directors.
