Due to the mandated school closure, Shaler Area School District will be accepting online registrations for new student enrollments. 
 
Kindergarten Registration:

Registration for grades 1-12: 
For new student registrations for grades 1-12, please complete the online New Student Registration Portal: https://forms.gle/2885cG17NACbtfrJ8

Your registration will not be finalized until you have mailed the following items via USPS:
  • Two proofs of residency (e.g. utility bill or driver’s license; cell phone statements are not acceptable)
  • Copy Child’s Original Birth Certificate (original will be required at later date)
  • Current copy of Immunization Record, including proof of lead level blood testing
  • Childs Specialized Education Plan (IEP & ER, GIEP & GWR or 504 Agreements if applicable)
  • Court Ordered Custodial Agreement (if applicable
  • *Shaler Area High School course selection sheet (for students enrolling in grades 9-12 only)
    • High School Course Description Book 
      • Grade 9 Course Selection Sheet (Pg. 12-13)
      • Grade 10 Course Selection Sheet (Pg. 14-15)
      • Grade 11 Course Selection Sheet (Pg. 16-17)
      • Grade 12 Course Selection Sheet (Pg. 18-19)

Welcome to Shaler Area School District!

To begin the process of registering your child/children, complete the registration packet and use the checklist below to ensure you have the proper documents needed for student enrollment in our district.


1. Complete the following Registration Packet in its entirety


Kindergarten Registration 
 
(Printed online packet or packet obtained at time of registration)
(Printed online packet or packet obtained at time of registration)

2. Provide acceptable forms of Proof of Shaler Area Residency
 (two of the following)
  • Utility Bill:  gas, electric, water or trash
  • Current Deed, Mortgage Statement or signed Lease Agreement
  • Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Identification, Driver’s License, or Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Vehicle Registration
  • Copy of state/federal program enrollment
  • Copy of paycheck stub with name/address of employee & employer, or proof of tax registration with Keystone Collection Group
3. Provide ALL of the following:
