*In effort to encourage Titan PRIDE, the Health and Physical Education Department
includes a reward incentive EVERY week.*
No matter the unit, students who show PRIDE are offered a choice 'reward day.' These days are tailored to allow the students to be physically active, while having fun doing what they want to do!
The options change throughout the year depending on their HPE unit. For example, in swimming students can play water polo, float around on noodles, jump/dive off the side, or be creative and make up their own game. During health, they go to the gym or wrestling room. When it's nice outside we open the shed and allow the students to use the equipment and all the available facilities (paved court, grass field, playground, and track).
These days are fun and provide students a choice while encouraging health and wellness, as well as, interpersonal life skills.
