The University of Pittsburgh's Society of Women Engineers would like to invite your 6th, 7th, and 8th grade female students to SWE++. SWE++ is a 7 week course designed to teach the basics of the Python coding language, in the course your student can expect to interact with other science, technology, engineering, and math focused middle school girls, learn coding concepts, and implement those concepts into fun activities. No prior coding or Python knowledge is required, as the program will build up from the beginning concepts of computer science into more challenging and engaging topics.

SWE++ starts on September 18th and will be every Sunday from 10am - 12pm until October 30th. September 18th and September 25th will be hosted virtually through Zoom and the remaining weeks will be in-person on Pitt's campus. Please read more about the program on the Eventbrite sign up here: SWE++ Sign-up Link Click Here
