In order to help you, we need to know the student’s name, the school, your name and telephone number and the nature of your problem. We promise to return each message as soon as we can.

We are committed to providing our children safe and pleasant bus transportation to and from school.

Linda Alessio is our Transportation Secretary Specialist who answers the calls to the main telephone line into the transportation office. Linda manages the transportation student database and will be able to handle most of your concerns.
 
If you need to change your address, contact your school secretary and use the change of address form.

Alternate transportation requests must be submitted each year using the "Request to Provide Transportation to/from Alternate Childcare Location."


 
Due to the safety of all students we are unable to make transportation changes after August 20th. Please review your student's transportation information carefully, any requested changes after August 20th will not take effect until after September 4th.  
AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITY BUSES

Student bus information for students in grades 4-12 is included on the student schedules and posted on EdLine
Student bus information for students in grades K-3 is included on the class assignment letters.

We ask that students arrive approximately 10 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time. There will be fluctuations in the schedule, especially during the first few weeks of the school year. We ask for your patience, pick-up and drop-off times become more consistent after the first few weeks of the school year. Please use these more consistent times when planning your trip to the bus stop.

Bus Rules

SAFETY AND CONDUCT RULES

Appropriate conduct is essential for the health and safety of students transported on school district vehicles. Please follow the following rules.

  1. Be at your assigned stop ten minutes ahead of schedule.
  2. Use good conduct at the bus stop and respect the property of others.
  3. Board and depart the bus in an orderly manner.
  4. Always cross the street 15 feet in front of the bus.
  5. Cross only when the red lights are flashing and traffic is stopped.
  6. Observe classroom conduct on the school bus.
  7. Misconduct shall include any form of unacceptable behavior including, but not limited to: pushing; hitting; shouting; tripping; littering; profane language; obscene gestures; disrespect; harassment; eating; drinking; refusing to comply with the driver’s direction or to provide appropriate identity; throwing objects in or from vehicles; fighting; smoking; damaging the vehicle; injuring persons or property; opening exit doors or engaging in any conduct hazardous to the driver, passengers, or people outside of the school vehicle.
  8. The student must be in the seat and face the front.
  9. Do not kneel, change seats, or sit on book bags. Personal items and body parts must remain within the seating compartment and not protrude into the aisles or out of the windows.
  10. Cooperate with your driver. Do not distract the driver.
  11. Have a safe and pleasant trip!
