In August, crews completed the site preparation work for the field and field event areas including the long jump pits and throwing event sectors, in preparation for the artificial turf installation.

 

FieldTurf delivered the turf, and crews began the turf installation process. Crews also began work to mill and prepare the base surface for the new track.
