Special Education Plan

Every three years the PA Department of Education requires that a school entity must develop and submit for approval a special education plan. The special education plan must be made available for public inspection and comment for 28 calendar days and then it can be approved by the School Board.   Once the special education plan is approved by the Board it will then be submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), Bureau of Special Education.   If you would like to make a comment regarding the district’s posted  three (3) year special education plan (7/1/14 to 6/30/17, please contact Mr. William Watson, Director of Pupil Services by calling (412) 492-1200 ext. 2815 or via email: [email protected].
