Shaler Area is proud to announce five Shaler Area High School students were accepted into the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 1 Chorus.

These Shaler Area students auditioned with more than 400 singers from surrounding school districts for the opportunity to be selected for the PMEA District 1 Chorus.
The PMEA District 1 Senior High Chorus festival will be held at East Liberty Presbyterian Church on February 10-11, 2022. This festival is comprised of students from 54 districts in Allegheny, Washington, Westmoreland, Greene and Fayette County. The concert will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 7 p.m.
