The Shaler Area School District seeks full time instructional tutors to assist students with math support at both Marzolf Primary and Shaler Area Elementary School. Tutors will work with identified students in grades K-6 during the school day. Tutors will provide remediation using manipulatives, instructional activities, and an online math program to improve math performance for the students. Tutors will meet with teachers to plan specific supports and collect data. All training is provided via AmeriCorps. Tutors receive a compensation of $28,000 plus training.
