Two Shaler Area teachers named PA Teacher of the Year Semi-Finalists
Shaler Area is proud to announce two high school teachers were named semi-finalists for the 2018 Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year.
Greg Mason, a science teacher, and Kristin Tepshich, a choral teacher, were chosen by the selection committee of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the National State Teachers of the Year, with the guidance and assistance of the Pennsylvania Department of Education, to advance to the semi-finalist round of the state Teacher of the Year selection process.
The Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year program celebrates excellence in teaching, honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the young people of Pennsylvania, and selects a nominee for the National Teacher of the Year award.
