The Shaler Area Board of School Directors scheduled a Special Voting meeting on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be convened for general business purposes and to approve the Back-to-School Health and Safety Plan. The meeting will be held via a remote meeting platform. Information regarding the specifics of the platform will be posted to the district website on Monday, August 3, 2020.
There will be two ways for the public to participate in the Special Voting meeting:

- Residents who only wish to view the meeting can watch the livestream on the district's YouTube channel. The meeting link will appear when the livestream begins.
There will be two opportunities for the public to comment during the meeting:
- Before the meeting is called to order, the public will have the opportunity to speak on any agenda items (ONLY). The board president will announce this opportunity. Agendas are posted at: https://www.sasd.k12.pa.us/BoardMeetings.aspx
- After the board's approval to adjourn the business meeting and before the final adjournment, the public will have the opportunity to speak on any matter
