The following are instructions for the locker clean out on Friday, June 5, 2020. Below are instructions for when you are scheduled to come to SAMS. Please adhere to all CDC guidelines. Students must have a mask on when entering the building. Parents may not accompany their child into the building.
Drop off your student at the main entrance by the flagpoles. Drive around the building and park on the shopping center side an/or upper lot by the stadium. Please come at your designated time (see below). Students are to arrive based on grade level and last name. Students will enter and check-in - staff will be available to guide them. Face masks (cloth or surgical) must be worn at all times. Students will clean out lockers and place items to go home in a bag. You may bring your own bag. Items that need discarded will be placed in trash barrels located in the halls. Students will NOT need to remember their locker combination. Students will proceed to the cafeteria to turn in any school materials, i.e. textbooks, calculators, etc. Please bring textbooks and library books from home that you need to turn in. Students will exit out the back side of the cafeteria, walk around the building and proceed to their parents' cars. Parents will exit out the shopping center side of the building. Please leave immediately as we have waves of students coming in every hour and we must follow gathering guidelines. Yearbooks have not yet arrived from the vendor. Yearbooks will be available at a future date. We apologize for the inconvenience. Make-up dates will be scheduled for a future date. District-issued iPads and technology will NOT be collected. Please keep that device in a safe place at home over the summer. We appreciate all of your flexibility and cooperation. We must and will maintain a safe environment during this time and children will not be allowed to have physical contact with other children and must practice social distance.
