The Shaler Area boys basketball program is redirecting its competitive spirit to giving back to the community. Shaler Area is one of more than 30 WPIAL teams competing to donate the most money to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank from now through Jan. 15.
Each dollar donated provides five meals to those who are struggling this holiday season.
