Alexis Werner's experience with her stepfather's Post Traumatic Stress inspired her to start a program to help veterans.

After 4 years of work, Ms. Alexis Werner completed "Our Way Home," a documentary to assist in bringing better awareness and educate on the serious effects of PTS on soldiers and their families.

On Saturday, April 16, 2016, "Our Way Home" will air on WQED at 9 p.m. The documentary will give a better picture of how Post Traumatic Stress has changed throughout the years, where veterans can get help, and what the community can do to help.
