Shaler Area students excelled on the 2016 National Latin Exam which evaluates students on their ability to identify grammatical and cultural elements relating to the Latin language as well as their ability to translate a Latin passage which they have never seen before and answer questions about it.
Every year the National Latin Exam is given in March to students from all over the country. While this is an optional test, Shaler Area is very proud to have many students choose to participate. Students will be recognized for their achievement at an awards ceremony in May.
