The Private Industry Council is now enrolling children for the 2022-23 school year Pre-K Counts Program at Burchfield Primary School. A child’s early years is a key time of mental and emotional development, as they form skills that will help them to succeed in school—and beyond. A quality preschool program helps a child build a solid foundation for learning. This vital resource should be available to all children. That is why the Shaler Area School District is so pleased that preschool programs are offered at all four primary schools in our district free of charge to qualifying families. A family of 4 is eligible if they earn up to $83,250 annually.
