The Go Bucket Initiative Needs Your Help!
The District Parent Council is reaching out to all the Shaler Area families for help to reach our goal of having Go Buckets in every classroom to keep our children safe!

A Go Bucket consists of comfort items for extended lockdown periods and life-saving materials that can be used in case of an emergency.  We, as a Council, are requesting donations for some of the “fillers” for our classroom buckets.  The donations (and where they are purchased) we would like to request are:

Gift Cards
Dollar Tree

Dollar Tree
Toilet paper (4 for $1)
Snack size baggies
Large zip ties
25-foot rope
Roll of duct tape
Large garbage bags
Gallon Ziploc bags
Shower curtain
antibacterial wipes
small bottles of hand sanitizer
sandwich size baggies
small first aid kit
gauze pads
bleach tablets
space blanket
sharpie markers
medical gloves

We are also accepting monetary donations.  The cost to complete (1) bucket is around $20.00.  We have completed (3) schools’ Go Buckets thus far, but we still have many more to make to ensure that each classroom in the Shaler Area School District has one.  We would appreciate any donation that you can make towards this amazing cause!

Donations may be dropped off or sent into your school, labeled “Go Bucket donation.”  If you have any questions, feel free to email us at [email protected].
