A child’s early years are a key time of mental and emotional development, as they form skills that will help them to succeed in school—and beyond. That is why the Shaler Area School District is so pleased that preschool programs are offered at primary schools in our district free of charge to qualifying families.

This year, Children's Grief Awareness Day will be recognized on Thursday, November 17, 2022. We are asking all students and staff to wear blue on this day to support those children who have experienced the death of a significant loved one

With the winter weather season approaching, we want to remind our families of the district’s procedures for delaying or cancelling the school day to ensure you can plan accordingly and provide information about the district using Flexible Instructional Days in place of cancelling classes due to inclement weather.
