Fundraising

The PTO membership fees and fundraising efforts throughout the year support purchases and activities such as:

  • • Scott Primary and House Shirts for Every Student
  • • Student Directory for Each Family
  • • A Portion of Admission and Transportation for Field Trips
  • • Education and Entertaining Student Assemblies
  • • Classroom Holiday Parties
  • • Holiday Shop

  • • Teacher and Staff Appreciation Events
  • • Family Events like Trunk or Treat, Cookies and Cocoa, Paint Night, Bingo, and more
  • • Grants for Teachers and Staff for Items to be used in the Classrooms

Here are EASY ways to earn money for the SPTO all year long. The money raised goes directly to making the school year awesome for our kids.

Current Fundraisers

Spring Flower Sale

This year, our flowers will be provided by Bartsch Gardens (155 Hahn Rd). We are offering a larger variety of flower options as well as a gift card option!

Orders Due by April 26, 2024
Pickup will be in the Scott Primary Parking Lot on Friday, May 3, from 5-6:30 pm.


School Store

SPTO will host a school store at lunch on the last Friday of every month. Will sell novelty items - school supplies, house color accessories, etc. Students are limited to $5 worth of purchases for each store day.

Please send students with cash in an envelope labeled "School Store - Student's Name" if they want to participate.

Box Tops


Box Tops makes it easy to earn cash for the school of your choice, whether it's your child's school or a local school that could use a little help. Download the app and select "Scott Primary" as your school to support. Then follow the prompts to begin.

Shop N Save SEED Program


We can earn a FREE assembly from the Pittsburgh Zoo or Science Center! Register your Shop N Save card at https://www.shopnsavefood.com/extra/seed. Click "Sign up Perks card for SEED." After signing in, you will see a drop-down box called "select your seed school." Select Scott Primary (code 65.) You can choose only one school per registered card.



Shop with Script


You can help us fundraise by earning on your daily purchases by purchasing e-gift cards from over 400 brands. The price is the same for you. You purchase an e-card at face value, and that's the value you receive. Earnings come from the brands, not from your pocket. The PTO receives a rebate that helps us raise money. Please ONLY purchase E-CARDS. The app will also give you options to buy physical gift cards.

    • At checkout, select to either pay with your bank account or a credit card. Do not select the third option to pay the coordinator directly.
