The school counseling core curriculum is the planned instruction that is delivered to all students.  It is comprehensive in scope, preventative in nature and developmental in design.  It facilitates the systemic delivery of lessons and activities aligned with the school counseling program's vision, mission and goals.  The curriculum is used to teach knowledge, attitudes and skills based on the ASCA Mindsets and Behaviors standards and within the three domains of academic, career and social/emotional development.
