Remote Learning – Week 9 – June 1
I’m so proud of the work you’ve done this spring! Thank you all for participating, especially those of you who have completed your assignments each week. You’ve done a great job, and I’ve really enjoyed hearing from you. Parents, thank you so much for helping your children navigate this virtual format!
This is our last lesson for the year. I hope you all have a good summer! I’ll see you in the fall (3rd grade – Remember that I’m at the Elementary School too. If you aren’t in my class, you can always stop in to say hello! My room is 303).
I would still love to hear from you! If you are able, please email me pictures or videos of assignments you complete to the email above.

I thought it would be nice to have a virtual “pick day” for our last lesson. I’ve included links to some of your favorites from school and from remote learning. Choose the ones that you would like to do. Here they are:
Five Fat Turkeys – It’s your favorite thing to do on “pick day” and you can play with your family! Pick one cook and change the number of turkeys to match the number of people in your family.
Five Fat Turkeys
Naughty Kitty Cat – another great singing game to play with your family! Instead of making a circle with people, you could make a circle outside with cones or toys.

I've heard that many of you enjoy dancing with Maximo. Here are the links to our Maximo dances:
Maximo - Maxarena
Maximo - Chicken Dance
Maximo - Twist and Shout
Also fun, even though we didn’t get to it – Maximo - Hokey Pokey
Just for fun, try drumming to “We Will Rock You”. You will need a drum and sticks. If you made a drum a few weeks ago, use it for this song. An empty, upside down bucket, pail, or trash can is a great drum too. Use pencils, wooden spoons, sticks from outside, or even cardboard tubes for sticks. Here is the link for the song:

If you enjoyed bucket drumming and you like the song “Dance Monkey”, this is another fun bucket drumming song:
