Human-Centered Design Timeline
June/July 2016 District leaders meet to determine how to empower stakeholders and collaborate. Leadership groups are identified.
October 2016 The teacher leadership group and administration leadership group meet to discuss the state of the district and participate in a number of human-centered design activities to identify strengths and weaknesses in the district.
November 2016 All ideas and themes are collected and used to develop five pillars
January 2017 Facilitators are trained. All teachers are introduced to the concept of human-centered design and participate in human-centered design activities to provide feedback on the pillars and identify the most important topics and issues for each.
March 2017 Administration meets with parents to review the pillars and target areas, and generate new ideas.
March 2017 Stakeholders meet to review and reflect to finalize pillars and target areas.
May 2017 Administration organizes task force groups to review pillars and create action plans.
July 2017  Various stakeholders meet in a workshop session to establish the district's mission, vision, and core values.
August 2017  The stakeholders meet again to finalize mission, vision, values.
October 2017  Task force groups continue to develop action plans for each pillar.
