Shaler Area seventh-grade students saw lessons from their Medieval Europe unit in their social studies classes come to life in the Knights of the Classroom presentation.
Dan Andre, of Knights of the Classroom, brought his "traveling museum" to Shaler Area Middle School to show students artifacts and replicas of items from the Middle Ages. Students learned about how words and items that they use every day have their origins in the Middle Ages. Students also has the opportunity to try on chainmail, play Medieval games and see artifacts from that period of time.
