*New for this year*
**Beginning in the 2018-2019 school year, every child entering kindergarten in Pennsylvania will need to present a record of having had lead level blood testing at the time of registration. A lead level test is generally done at 9-12 months and again at 24 months. Parents/Guardians should obtain documentation of their child’s lead level test from the child’s physician. The documentation does not need to include the test results, just that the test was completed. If your child has not had a lead level test, one must be completed and documentation provided prior to starting kindergarten.
