The students at the Shaler Area Middle School present Schoolhouse Rock Live!, one of musical theater's brightest and most innovative shows. Based on the Emmy Award winning 1970s educational cartoon series, Schoolhouse uses a wide array of musical styles
to teach grammar, math, science, history, social studies, and political science
while telling a story of Tom, a young teacher nervously anticipating his first
day on the job. Originally produced by Theatre BAM at Cafe Voltaire in Chicago,
Schoolhouse has quickly become a favorite of the stage as well as television. Performances will be held at the Shaler Area Middle School Auditorium. Opening night performance begins at 7:00 pm on Friday, February 16, 2018. The Saturday matinée begins at 2:00, February 17, 2018. Ticket prices are $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for seniors and students.
