Three Shaler Area students represent A.W. Beattie in the inaugural career signing day
Three Shaler Area students represented A.W. Beattie Career Center in Allegheny County’s inaugural career signing day on Tuesday, May 7.

The county-wide celebration, which was held at the Energy Innovation Center, was patterned after collegiate signing days, but focused on high school seniors who will use their career and technical education training to commit themselves to successful futures in college, the work force, or the military.

Students were joined by their families, representatives of the organizations they committed to, A.W. Beattie administration and staff, and administrators from their sending school district to celebrate their future plans.
