Shaler Area students place in High School Integration Bee

Seven Shaler Area students and high school
math teacher Paul Stadelman participated in
the 15th High School Integration Bee
at the University of Pittsburgh. 

Shaler Area students were recognized for their participation in the 15th High School Integration Bee hosted by the College in High School Program and Department of Mathematics at the University of Pittsburgh on April 7.

Shaler Area High School senior Andrew D’Agostino placed 2nd and senior Kylie Dougherty placed 4th. Also participating were Shaler Area seniors Jordan Dourlain, Alyssa Krause, Brandon Fafata, Marcus Katich, and Kiley Rowell who made it through multiple rounds of competition.

The competition challenged students to solve problems from integral calculus.
