Dear Shaler Area Middle School Parents/Guardians,
We would like to cordially invite you and your child to our annual Spring Open House on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 5:30 to 7:15 pm here at our school.
Below is some more specific information regarding our Open House event:
Purpose of the Open House: This event is designed for parents/guardians to attend with their child and is a great opportunity to connect with our staff and to showcase some of the many excellent things that go on in our school each day. Our teaching staff will be available to share information and ask questions that you may have regarding our academic and school programs. All displays and information will occur in GYM B, and everyone is encouraged to visit during the evening.
Invitation to current 6th Graders and their parents/guardians: The current 6th graders and their parents are invited to participate in a "sneak peek" into our Middle School. 6th Grade students and their parents should plan to meet in the CAFETERIA from 5:30 to 6:15 PM for a presentation by our current 7th grade teachers. Although attendance at this event is optional, you are encouraged to visit and check out the school.
Invitation to parents/guardians of current 8th Graders: At 6:00 PM in the MIDDLE SCHOOL AUDITORIUM, the Shaler Area High School Guidance Department will present an overview of the high school scheduling process to the parents/guardians of our current 8th graders and their children.
