Dear Shaler Area families,
We recently received notice that a section of Evergreen Avenue, just south of Wible Run Road, will be closed for bridge repairs effective Tuesday, May 15, and through the end of the school year. This work will impact several bus stops along Evergreen Avenue and cause delays for buses that will require an alternate route around this construction effective Wednesday, May 16 starting with the morning bus routes.
A letter will be sent home to all families whose bus stops are affected by this construction and require alternate bus stop locations through the end of the school year.
We ask for your patience in this matter, as there are numerous bus routes and students affected by this closure. We are striving to provide the safest, most efficient transportation possible for your child at this time.
