Shaler Area School District has scheduled registration events throughout March for students entering Kindergarten in the fall of 2020. If you have a child who will be 5 years old ON or BEFORE August 31, 2020, your child is eligible to attend Kindergarten.
Please attend the registration session at your HOME school. If you are unsure of your home school, please call the Transportation Office at (412) 492-1200 ext. 8-2824.
All registrations will take place at the buildings on the dates scheduled below. Registration hours are 7 to 11 a.m. and 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Burchfield students — Monday, March 2, 2020 at Burchfield Primary, 1500 Burchfield Road
Marzolf students — Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at Marzolf Primary, 101 Marzolf Road
Reserve students — Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at Reserve Primary, 2107 Lonsdale Road
Scott students — Thursday, March 5, 2020, at Scott Primary, 705 Scott Avenue
There are two SPECIAL OFF-SITE REGISTRATION events scheduled:
Millvale — Wednesday, March 18, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Millvale Community Library, 213 Grant Avenue.
Etna — Wednesday, March 18, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clarence Fugh Memorial Hall, 27 Crescent Ave.
Special Evening Registration events are available to students from any building and scheduled for: Thursday, March 19, 2020, and Tuesday, March 24, 2020, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Shaler Area School District Administrative Offices, 1800 Mount Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA 15116.
Your registration will not be accepted if you do not have the following items:
1. Two proofs of residency (e.g. utility bill or driver’s license; cell phone statements are not acceptable)
2. Child’s Original Birth Certificate
3. Current copy of Immunization Record, including proof of lead level blood testing
