Shaler Area Education Foundation's 5th Taste of Shaler Area POSTPONED
Shaler Area Education Foundation will host its 5th annual fundraising event to benefit the students and academic programs of Shaler Area School District.
“Taste of Shaler Area” will be held from 6 to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Elfinwild Volunteer Fire Hall, 2807 Mt. Royal Boulevard.
The Shaler Area Education Foundation is dedicated to enabling the school district to cultivate the unique capabilities of every student by funding innovative and engaging educational programs that might not be possible otherwise. Taste of Shaler Area provides a unique opportunity for attendees to sample food from local restaurants committed to the Etna, Millvale, Shaler, and Reserve communities. Throughout the evening, guests will hear about the impactful work funded by the Foundation and have the opportunity to take home some great items through a silent auction and raffle baskets. “We are very excited to invite the community to join us in supporting the Shaler Area School District in our largest fundraiser of the year to provide money for initiatives and mini-grants that will expand classroom programs and student opportunities across the district,” said Steve Romac, event Chairman.
