Five Shaler Area High School students were chosen to perform in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) Region Chorus concert, to be held on Friday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m.

The Shaler Area students to perform are:

• Paige Milavec, 10^th-grade
• Catie Strout, 12^th-grade
• Tori Lorenz, 11^th-grade
• Jordan Schreiber, 12^th-grade
• Zak Marshall, 11^th-grade 

The students auditioned, with the 175 other singers, to earn a spot in the PMEA Region Chorus.

The concert will be part of the PMEA Region Senior High Chorus festival at Trinity High School on Feb. 25-27. The festival is comprised of students from more than 100 districts in Allegheny, Washington, Westmoreland, Green, Fayette, Beaver, Butler, Lawrence and Mercer counties.
