Shaler Area students place in Scholastic Art Awards
Shaler Area is proud to recognize the high school students who recently won awards for their submissions in the 2018 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, a prestigious national juried exhibition.
Out of approximately 3,585 listed winners and countless submissions from multiple areas, a total of 24 Shaler Area high school students earned 29 awards in the competition’s Northeast Regionals. The Northeast Art Region-at-Large, includes submissions from Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Students awarded a Gold Key will have their artwork advance for adjudication at the national level in New York City.
