Shaler Area schools and community libraries benefit from all-district fundraiser
The success of this year’s fundraising event “Shaler Area’s Got Talent” in February, allowed the all-district fundraising committee to split the proceeds between all Shaler Area buildings’ parent-teacher organizations as well as give back to the community libraries.
Each year the all-district fundraising committee chooses a community organization to support through a financial donation, in addition to dividing funds between the PTOs.
On April 4, the committee presented representatives from Shaler North Hills Library, Millvale Community Library, and Glenshaw Public Library with checks totaling $700 in support of the valuable programs they provide.
