The Burchfield PTO Board has decided to discontinue the current PTO webpage on our Shaler Area Web Site.   

This site will no longer be available.  They are currently working on creating a new Google Webpage which will have all the updated information regarding events, meetings and enrollment for the PTO.    As soon as the webpage is up and running you will be able to find a link on the  Shaler Website that will take you directly to their site.  Thank you.

A child’s early years are a key time of mental and emotional development, as they form skills that will help them to succeed in school—and beyond. That is why the Shaler Area School District is so pleased that preschool programs are offered at primary schools in our district free of charge to qualifying families.

With the winter weather season approaching, we want to remind our families of the district’s procedures for delaying or cancelling the school day to ensure you can plan accordingly and provide information about the district using Flexible Instructional Days in place of cancelling classes due to inclement weather.
