COURSE DESCRIPTION:  Throughout the year, you will learn about and experiment a variety of science topic – scientific method, variables/controlled experiments, pendulum system, weather and climate, magnets and motors, and mixtures and solutions.

WHAT IS EXPECTED:  Students are expected to have the assigned class-work and homework completed when they come to class to receive full credit.  Assignments that are not turned in on time will not receive full credit.  Students will be allotted some time to work on projects and assignments in class.  Tests and quizzes will also be given periodically.

HELPFUL HINTS:

Use your assignment book daily – record assignments accurately, go home and look over your assignment book (show someone at home what you are working on).

Do NOT procrastinate – for instance, DO NOT leave a project to be worked on the night before it is due!
