Rogers Primary School staff and students—present and past—along with the community gathered for a special “Rogers Reunion” event on Saturday, May 14, 2016, to celebrate their favorite memories of the school through activities, stories and the creation of thumbprint work of art to be displayed in the new school building.

Longtime Rogers Primary secretary, Jane Schomburger, served as honorary chairperson of the event and rang the tone blocks one last time to honor the school and shared a few of her special jokes.

Students also had the opportunity for one last recess on the playground during a special after-school event on Thursday, May 19, 2016.
