Mission Statement and Time Line

To recognize those individuals who have brought prestige and pride to the Shaler Area School District athletic program and to our community either as a player, coach, administrator, or supporter.

The Hall of Fame football game and Banquet Date

The Shaler Area Athletic Hall of Fame will induct its Class of 2016 on
Saturday, October 1, 2016

This year’s inductees are:

Walter Brown, Football, Wrestling, Track

Jesse DellaValle, Football, Basketball

Jill DiNucci, Basketball

Olivia DiNucci, Basketball, Track

Brandon Lehmeier, Football, Wrestling

Samantha Smyers, Golf

Tickets are $25.00.

TIME LINE

Nomination forms will be placed on the SASD Website, in the school newsletters, sports programs, and in the newspaper. A press release will be sent to the local newspapers.

January 1 - April 30, 2017 - Nominations will be open for Hall of Fame Inductees. The Nomination Committee will meet to determine which candidates satisfy the criteria for the Hall of Fame.

May 9, 2017 - Nominations are closed.

May/June 2017 - The Selection Committee meets to review and discuss the nominees and select the class of 2017.

September/October 2017 - Hall of Fame Inductees will be honored at the beginning of a Shaler Area Titan football game. A Hall of Fame dinner will be held and plaques will be presented.
