Meet Mrs. Su
2012813141821431_image.jpg imageAfter graduating from highschool at Franklin Regional School District in Murrysville, PA, I went on to attend Penn State University in State College, PA .

I graduated from Penn State with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I taught second grade at Greater Works Academy in Monroeville for four years. It was there that I decided I wanted to have more knowledge and skills in teaching children how to read. I went to the University of Pittsburgh and received my Masters in Reading Education with a reading specialist certificate.

After teaching at Greater Works, I taught first grade one year at Johnston Elementary in the Wilkinsburg School District.

This is my eighth year at Jeffery. For the first four years I was Jeffery's reading coach.  I worked mainly with kindergarten and first grade, but was a resource to all the grades.

This will be my fourth year as one of the Kindergarten teachers.  Jeffery Primary is a great place to work, so many wonderful students, teachers, and staff.

I wouldn't have been able to accomplish all these things without the people who love and support me: my parents, three younger brothers, grandparents, and of course my husband.

We have two sons...

We have a Siberian Husky dog named Maceo. He is eight years old, but he still acts like a puppy sometimes. He is extremely intelligent and knows over ten tricks!

I enjoy traveling, movies, reading, spending time with my family and friends, shopping, music, and watching football.
