Topics Covered
Math 6 covers a variety of math topics.  Some of the topics covered include basic operations with whole numbers, decimals, and fractions, data analysis, percents, geometry, measurement, algebra, and problem solving. 

Expectations
Homework is given most nights so students are expected to have it all completed when they come to class in order to get full credit.  Most homework will be provided in the form of a chapter packet.  Students will be responsible for keeping track of the packet for the duration of the chapter.  Tests will be given at the end of each chapter.  Any student can get chapter tests signed by a parent for an additional bonus point.  Quizzes will be given occasionally, which will usually focus on just one concept.  There will also be group work and individual activities the students will be responsible for completing in class.

Grading
Homework Assignments - 1 point
Chapter Tests - vary between 30 & 60 points
Quizzes - vary from 8 to 15 points
Classroom Assignments - Points vary
