Fundraising and Non-Selling Fundraisers

All money raised from fundraising goes directly to the children of Marzolf Primary.

The PTO supports field trips, classroom parties, the Fall Festival, Cookies with Claus, Field Day,  and many more activities!

There are many non-selling fundraisers that you can take part in that do not take much effort at all.  No collecting money, not order forms to fill out and send in.  It's just as easy as 1-2-3!  Purchases you already make in your every day life can help and benefit the children of our school.

Shop 'n Save Seed Program
Students Extra Educational Development

Shop 'n Save has offered the S.E.E.D (Students Extra Educational Development) program for nearly 30 years, bringing assemblies from places such as the Carnegie Science Center, the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, and the Pittsburgh Zoo to our schools.

Schools become eligible for an assembly by registering their Shop 'n Save Perks Cards online, which will track purchases leading up to a total of $250 (including tax) for each student attending the assembly.   One of the S.E.E.D partners of the PTO's choice will come to Marzolf and present a 35-40 minute assembly.  The assembly consists of fun, hands-on learning experience with topics ranging from science to the environment to learning about animals and ocean life.

Help Marzolf receive these great perks by following a few simple instructions:

  • Go online and register your Shop 'n Save Perks card at shopnsavefood.com
  • Enter Marzolf Primary's School ID number:  212
  • It is that simple!  Please do not turn in paper receipts; they will no longer be accepted

Box Tops for Education

It is a new school year and a great time to start clipping and cutting those Box Tops off your favorite General Mills foods.  Box Tops for Education helps our PTO generate money to give back to our teachers and students for classroom needs and extra activities.

When gathering all of your Box Tops for Education, please make sure they are in a zip-lock bag or envelope, INCLUDING your child's name, grade, section, and teacher.  It is appreciated if you could count the number of Box Tops you have saved and are turning in.

We will be offering 2 contests throughout the year.  The classroom that turns in the most Box Tops will receive special treats, courtesy of the PTO, such as movie time and popcorn, and MORE!!  Look for flyers to come home in the Wednesday envelopes.

Tyson Project A+

Tyson Project A+ program is one of the simplest ways to support Marzolf!  Just clip and redeem Tyson Project A+ labels from packages of Tyson products and return them to your child's homeroom in a labeled, sealed envelope with your child's name, homeroom, and Tyson Project A+.

For every label we receive $.24, and Marzolf can use the money for whatever the children need.  So be sure to check those packages before throwing them away!

SHOPAROO

Download the ShopaRoo App on your mobile device.  Follow the steps and choose Marzolf Primary.  Start shopping....ANYWHERE and then take pictures of your receipts.  It's that easy!  If you do not have a smart phone, send in your receipts with your child in an envelope labeled "ShopaRoo" and we will do the work for you.

Just take a few moments to snap a picture of your grocery receipt on your smartphone, and you have made an instant cash donation!  You can also take pictures of your non-grocery receipts (like clothing stores, electronic stores, restaurants, home improvement stores, and more) for entries into Shoparoo's $1,000 and $15,000 sweepstakes!

Coke Rewards

Send in any Coca-Cola products such as Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Coca-Cola Zero, Sprite, Dasani, PowerAde, Minute Maid, VAULT, Pibb Extra, Fanta, Fresca, and Barqs, and send in the bottle caps or carton codes (14 digit code printed inside the carton).  Each classroom will have their own bin for the children to put their caps and codes in.

By  sending in bottle caps or carton codes, you will be able to donate points to provide our school with the resources we need.  These points can be used to purchase art supplies, sports gear, educational resources, and much more!
