Report cards and Progress Reports for students in grades
4-12 are available via Edline.

New Edline activation codes were mailed home the week of August 27, 2012 to parents of all 4th, 7th, and 9th grade students and parents of students in grades 4-12 who have not activated their Edline account.


The Shaler Area School District utilizes a Parent Portal system known as Edline. NEW for the 2012-13 school year, student progress reports and report cards will no longer be printed and sent home with children in Grades 4-12. Parents/Guardians that do not have access to the internet are able to request paper copies of the progress report and report card to continue to be sent home with their child. Please complete the bottom portion of this form and return it to your child’s school office by September 28, 2012.  

Official report cards will be posted to Edline on the following days no later than 3:00 PM:

Friday, November 16, 2012
Friday, February 1, 2013  (High School report cards will not be posted until Monday afternoon 2/4/2013)
Friday, April 19, 2013
Tuesday, June 18, 2013

Official progress reports will be posted to Edline on the following days no later than 3:00 PM:

Friday, October 12, 2012
Tuesday, December 18, 2012
Wednesday, March 6, 2013
Friday, May 17, 2013

Once you have activated your account, you can use Edline to:
  • Check your child’s latest grades
  • Receive email alerts when new grades, report cards, and progress reports are posted
  • See what homework is not turned in and read notes from your child’s teachers
  • Receive emails with school or class information
  • Access and print progress reports and report cards
