www.youtube.com -type in anything you want to learn about in the search window. Examples: rhyming videos, alphabet videos, sight words videos, syllables videos, "Have Fun Teaching" and "First Step Reading" have lots of good learning videos if you type in those in the search window, etc. There are dozens of fun videos on most learning topics. Make sure you are with your child while they are on the internet, for safety reasons.
www.handwritingworksheets.com -you can make any kind of writing practice sheet you want, including numbers and name practice!
www.abcya.com (click on "K" for Kindergarten or any grade you want) -this has tons of math and reading games-the kids will love them!

http://scholastic.com/bookclubs -this is the Scholastic book order website where you can order books online for your child. You can see all of the catalogs that are a good fit for young readers. Click on "Parent", then make a username and password and type the code "GWWRN" and make your book choices. If you would like to have a paper book order catalog instead, please let me know and I can send them home for you. You will just need to send a check written out to "Scholastic" and I will submit the order for you online. The books will ship to our school and I will send them home with your child. If the books are a surprise or a present, I can email/call you when you arrive and you can pick them up. The kids and I earn points that we can use to get free learning materials and books for our classroom.
